Call for applicants-Vacancies

Duty Station: State of Khartoum Duration:

One year with possibility of extension based on Performance with three-month probationary period.

Background The Sudan Energy Transition and Access Project (SETAP) is being prepared by Electrical Sector and World Bank as the first step to catalyze Sudan s energy transition and is designed to support the mitigation of the ongoing power crisis, while putting in place building blocks for universal electrification and transition to clean and low-cost energy. These interventions are expected to enhance the level of public trust in the energy sector. In parallel, Horn of Africa Regional Integration for Sustainable Energy Supply (HoA-RISES) is expected to finance a new interconnector between Ethiopia and Sudan.

Sudan Electricity Holding Company (SEHC) will be the implementing agency. The SEHC will create a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) by assigning personnel internally assigning from the sector and/or recruiting external candidates.

According to that, Sudan Electricity Holding Co. encourages all qualified Sudanese candidates to apply to become a part of Sudan Energy Transition and Access Project (SETAP) and Horn of Africa Regional Integration for Sustainable Energy Supply (HoA-RISES) project.
